Spanish 3 is the third level of Spanish available at Bay Port High School. I took this course during the 2016-2017 school year as a freshman. I had previously taken an advanced Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 course in eighth grade at my middle school, St. John the Baptist.
Spanish 3 focuses on teaching more Spanish vocabulary and introducing new grammar tenses to students. A basic foundation of ser versus estar, gustar like verbs, and the preterite and imperfect past tenses are taught to students. The learning is reinforced by the use of projects and the teaching of Spanish culture.
