Comparative Mythology is considered to be an English credit at Bay Port High School, and is only a semester-long course. I enrolled in this course for the 2019-2020 school year, and took it during second semester of my senior year.
Comparative Mythology explores the various origins of humanity and its future. Students observe various aspects that are similar across all mythologies, and then connect them to the individual quest for identity. Modern mythology will also be studied, which is found in comic books, television, and films along with other medias of pop culture.
